Empowering Lives, Building Strong Communities

about us

Who we are

KERULA FOUNDATION was established to address the needs of the most vulnerable members of our society, including single mothers, elderly women, grandmothers raising grandchildren, orphans, and disadvantaged children. Our founder, driven by a passion for community service, saw the urgent need for support in these areas and took action. Now we need your help.

We support with

Educational Support

We provide tuition support to ensure children can have an education. This program has helped them stay in school and achieve their academic goals.

Groceries Provision

We supply essential food items to families in need, ensuring they have the necessary nutrition to thrive and grow. This helps reduce hunger in vulnerable households.

Medical Assistance

Our medical assistance program extends a hand to those who can't afford, ensuring improved health and life generally.

Clothing Donations

We collect and distribute clothing to ensure that disadvantaged children and families are dressed in warm, comfortable, and appropriate attire.

Shelter Assistance

We provide shelter support for families facing homelessness or unsafe living conditions, offering temporary housing solutions and assisting with long-term stability.

Extending a hand during the pandemic

During the COVID-19 pandemic, we provided food and aid to help vulnerable families stay safe and navigate through the crisis.

Word from our founder

As the founder of KERULA FOUNDATION, my journey is a personal one. I’m Kemirembe Ruth Linda, a 44-year-old accountant and mother of three - 2 girls and a boy. Losing my father at 4 and watching my illiterate mother struggle to raise eight children alone inspired me to make a promise to God: if He made me someone of value, I would give back to those in need. Through KERULA, I fulfill that promise by providing education, healthcare, and basic necessities to disadvantaged families, helping them build brighter futures. Together, we can create lasting change.
